What is confirmed
The official Steam channels publish game updates and community information; the community wiki's Mods & Trainers page discusses the topic without confirming official mod support or a trusted trainer list. They do not establish that an unrelated download is safe, compatible or approved.

A minimum safety check
Require a named project, a current version statement, a reputable source and a reversible install path. Multiplayer tools may also affect other players and should be avoided without clear consent.
